In 2007 Dominet Bank (currently a part of the Fortis group) asked PMT to create a complete Visual Merchandising for the new network of Bank’s branches,

 

The assumption of the project was to create comparatively small branches (up to about of 120 m2), which ensure the Client with the market distinctive service comfort. The Client also expects the implementation of the proper marketing exhibits as well as of the desired image. Dominet Bank proposes various solutions which surpass the up-to-date client service standards within the branches of the bank such as implementation of the position of meeter-greeter, child’s corner, dedicated transaction realization locations.

 

The PMT concept called Fortis Cafe is based on creation of the warm and comforting atmosphere within the branch, such as a café. Thanks to the rich and practical knowledge on client behaviour we proposed a clear functional division of the space onto the transaction and waiting area.

 

The realised branch standard is not only the creation of PMT but is the result of the co-operation with Dominet Bank specialists, who included network development, sales and marketing specialists. Thanks to the numerous talks and constant experience exchanging we have been able to develop a standard, which not only realises the well established aims but also make the clients say upon the entrance of a branch: “What a nice bank!”

 

Within project realization a task force has been created. It consists of 10 bank specialists from various fields connected to the functioning of a modern bank branch and from 8 PMT based architects, graphic designers and consultants.

 

As the result of the aforementioned actions an architecture, merchandising and signage system has been created for four branch types which possess various functionality characteristics. The development consists of 20 furniture designs, 10 various designs of image elements about 200 various presentations and about 300 pages of text which contains all of the aforementioned information.
